In late March 2011, the GBV AoR launched its online GBV Community of Practice (CoP).  The site is hosted by UNITAR on its web platform for training.  To get started, send a request to join the CoP to Mar Jubero at the GBV AoR:  jubero@unfpa.org

You will receive an email from UNITAR with login and password information.  Sign in, set your preferences, and start posting your comments, thoughts, ideas, experiences, and concerns.

This is OUR NEW ONLINE COMMUNITY.  Over the coming months, the community of practice will host learning events for information, capacity development, and to promote online discussions.

If you have never been part of an online community of practice, it doesn't matter.  Most of us are new at this.   We are all a bit shy about posting something.  Just take a big deep breath and start writing.

And remember to return to the site often - it will be changing and growing every week.
